Tavon D'Andre Town, of Dumfries, arranged to meet the victim outside of school on March 30, Prince William County police said. That morning, he brought her marijuana and then together they drove to his home, where the sex assault happened, authorities said.
He then dropped her off near the school, authorities said.
Town's LinkedIn page shows he is a special education teacher in Woodbridge, and a varsity football coach.
Town, a teacher in the county's public school system, was charged following the investigation on April 19, and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery, one count of forcible sodomy and one count of indecent liberties.
Town was being held without bond.
